What we see is what we "want" to see.
One will objective things to the way we desire. Only if one can let go of the "self", one can be true free. Isn't that the first step of yoga!!
There is a time i only take class from the most famous instructor in the world but who am i to say who is "better". And yet, better is such a judgemental describe. For now i learn from everyone, my students teach me to be a begginner, my coleus teach my to teach and many workshop teach me to go deeper in my practice cause i have so many time want to quite but they enlighten me to keep going.
